We strive to work with as many UK suppliers as possible to support our economy but will source materials from around the world when we need to.
We felt quite privileged to be invited by this established Shropshire builders’ merchant to provide specialist advice on sourcing and installing over 300m2 of limestone tiles for this historic and important building.
We put forward our lighter toned 900 x 600 St Aubin for the main areas and for the borders the client decided on our St Moritz 600 x 400 grey tumbled limestone.
Where we believe we added most value was by advising on the technical aspects of the installation, importantly the correct type of anti-fracture system to be used. We also engaged our adhesive supplier Kerakoll to attend site with the client to carry out moisture testing of the screed to ensure optimum laying conditions.
The perfect grout match came from Ardex using colours Barley Sugar and Ocean Grey and MP90 Eco Extreme Stain Proofing from Fila.
